Dr. Lee Ramsey

Project director of Sustaining Pastoral Excellence, Lee is an ordained United Methodist minister and Professor of Pastoral Theology & Homiletics at Memphis Theological Seminary. He holds degrees from Emory University, Candler School of theology and Vanderbilt University, where he received the Ph.D. in religion and personality and homiletics. He is author of numersous articles and the book, “Care-full Preaching: From Sermon to Caring Community.” Lee is married to Mary Leslie-Ramsey and has two children, Shelley and Luke.
