Lanell Smith,Jr.

Program Support Coordinator of Sustaining Pastoral Excellence(SPE), Lanell Smith, Jr. is a native of Memphis, Tennessee. He is a graduate of Bethel University (formerly Bethel College of McKenzie, TN) with a Bachelor of Science in Management & Organizational Development. He is currently a graduate student completing a Master of Education degree in Higher Education Administration.Before attending Bethel University, Lanell was a student at the Univeristy of Tennessee Chattanooga (UTC) where he chartered the Minority Student Alliance, served as Student Senator & Chairman of several Student Government Committees, and served as Political Affairs Chairman for the NAACP- UTC Chapter. Prior to becoming program support coordinator for SPE he served as Media & Communications Coordinator for World Overcomers Outreach Ministries, Memphis, TN. Lanell is a member of The Life Church, Cordova, Tennessee.
